Scituate Maritime Center

USE OF THE SMC FACILITIES:
The bathroom facilities of the SMC are open to all.  The meeting room in the back of the building, facing the harbor, can accommodate 50, or possibly up to 90, depending on choice of furniture and/or use of the harbor-side deck.  For a nominal fee of $350 the room can be rented by public and private groups for lectures, club meetings, concerts, bridal showers, wedding receptions, christenings, parties, art shows, recitals, etc.  The building provides full access for those with disabilities.  A large parking lot adjoins the building.

Under the auspices of the Harbormaster, the scheduling and renting of the SMC is handled by the Scituate Maritime Center Foundation, a charitable organization.  Rental rates for Hall use are affordable and priced to allow community groups and private citizens to be able to enjoy this beautiful building. Still, it is recommended that potential users book the hall well in advance of the event, in order to avoid disappointment.
